Eric Lewis receives award
Eric Lewis, a long time bluegrass entertainer has received the commission
of Kentucky Colonel from the Governor Ernie Fletcher of Kentucky. The award is given each year to individuals world wide who
have outstanding accomplish-ments and promote the idea of the music and the state of Kentucky. Eric has been involved with
several facits of things that pertain to Kentucky and the heritage of it including, bluegrass music which was born in Kentucky,
performed in Kentucky, performed with Bill Monroe and others who came from Kentucky, was president of the George D. Hay Foundation,
of whom came several Kentuckians who had a Grand Ole Opry Career.

on Monday night, it will also be on the internet www.trimtntv.com and can be seen anytime 24/7 world wide each week.
Bob Cooper, mandolin player on our television show, received the Hoedown
Award from the George D. Hay Music Foundation on September 17, 2006. The award is given each year to local musicians commerating
the hoedown in the cabin at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas in 1919 when George D. Hay came and attended and received his inspiration
for the Grand Ole Opry.
Eric Lewis, guitar player for the group, is the new president of the
